Whithin the research project “Assessment of the status and perspectives of the development of scientific research in the southern region of Ukraine” (Registration No.0120U103993, performance period: 01.01.2021-31.12.2023), Scientific Supervisor of the research: Doctor of Economics, Professor O. Rubel), the following scientific results were obtained:
Based on the application of scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, systemic, functional, statistical and graphical approaches, methodological approaches to assessing the scientific, educational and innovative ecosystem of the Southern region have been improved, which is based on taking into account the dynamics of scientific research in terms of the volume of costs for their implementation, the number of innovative developments in sectors and branches of the regional economy, the number of scientific and scientific and pedagogical personnel; tools for coordination and mutual assistance of local authorities with scientific institutions, higher education institutions of the Odessa region have been developed, in particular regarding the processes of optimizing the preparation and implementation of regional development programs based on the application of the proposed concept of an “integration innovation platform”; the advantages of introducing innovative corporate universities based on their involvement in the implementation of the “open innovation” model have been substantiated; methodological provisions for determining the effectiveness of innovative research in the Southern region of Ukraine have been further developed based on changes in the structure of indicators of investment attractiveness of innovative developments in the region; the procedure for developing regional development programs for the Odessa region, which involves basing program activities on the results of scientific developments and research.
