The Institute has established and operates a specialised Academic Council for awarding the scientific degrees of Doctor and Candidate of Economic Sciences in the following specialties:

By Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 387 of 4 March 2020, the specialised academic council D 41.177.01 at the Institute of Market Problems and Economic-Ecological Research of the NAS of Ukraine was granted the right — until 31 December 2020, and, in accordance with the amendments under Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 946 of 22 July 2020, until 15 May 2021 — to accept for consideration and to hold the defence of dissertations for the scientific degree of Doctor (Candidate) of Economic Sciences in the specialties:

– 08.00.04 – economics and management of enterprises (by type of economic activity);

– 08.00.06 – environmental economics and environmental protection.
