Whithin the research project “Development of property relations in recreational and tourist nature use of coastal regions of Ukraine” (Registration No.0116U000411, performance period: 01.01.2016 – 31.12.2018, Scientific Supervisors of the research: Doctor of Economics A. Martienko), the following scientific results were obtained:
The conceptual provisions on the development of property relations in the recreational and tourist nature use of the coastal regions of Ukraine have been scientifically substantiated. Methodological provisions for improving the system of administration of recreational and tourist activities have been developed, taking into account the forms and rights of ownership of the resources of the coastal regions of Ukraine. Legislative and regulatory acts on improving property relations in the recreational and tourist nature use of the coastal regions have been substantiated. Institutional principles and an organizational and economic mechanism have been developed, which are aimed at increasing natural capital in terms of nature and value and improving the structure of their appropriation. The feasibility of using ecosystem and field-functional approaches in the system of management of the economic and ecological development of the Kuyalnyk estuary and adjacent territories has been substantiated in order to more effectively use its unique bio-resources. Based on a scientific generalization of the economic and ecological situation in the Kuyalnyk estuary basin and its impact on its condition, promising ways of territorial development of communities located in its zone have been proposed in the direction of creating enterprises of recreation, leisure, and sanatorium and resort sectors. Proposals have been developed for a comprehensive approach to the development of the organizational and economic mechanism of the recreational and tourist sector, which are based on providing alternative nature-conserving activities of business entities located in the Kuyalnyk estuary basin.

Whithin the research project “Inclusiveness of the experience economy in nature management” (Registration No.0119U000229, performance period: 01.01.2019 – 31.12.2021, Scientific Supervisors of the research: Doctor of Economics N. Khumarova), the following scientific results were obtained:
Theoretical and methodological provisions and practical recommendations for the development of an inclusive experience economy in nature management through the resolution of socio-economic and economic-ecological contradictions and the establishment of a conceptual relationship with the economy of well-being have been scientifically substantiated. A theoretical and methodological approach has been developed to determine the transformational potential of the sphere of relationships “experience economy – inclusive development – nature management” as the country’s ability to manage changes towards the implementation of the concept of sustainable development and the European Green Deal. Theoretical principles of institutional support for the development of an inclusive experience economy in nature management, based on the provisions of the new institutional economy, and in their combination with the concepts of a socially-oriented market economy and sustainable development, have been determined.

Whithin the research project “Natural asset management based on blue growth” (Registration No.0122U000738, performance period: 01.01.2022 – 31.12.2024, Scientific Supervisors of the research: Doctor of Economics N. Khumarova, Doctor of Economics M. Petrushenko), the following scientific results were obtained:
Theoretical and methodological approaches and a set of recommendations for managing natural assets on the principles of blue growth have been substantiated. Based on the principles of blue growth, a theory has been developed for the formation of a system for managing the green infrastructure of coastal urban ecosystems as a set of principles, methods, criteria, means, forms and tools for ensuring effective interaction of elements of the urban environment and the processes occurring in it, in order to ensure high quality of the urban ecosystem as a whole, its environmental safety, social attractiveness and economic efficiency.

Whithin the research project “Formation and use of natural resource assets of the recreational and tourist sphere” (Registration No.0120U100159, performance period: 01.01.2020 – 31.12.2021, Scientific Supervisors of the research: Doctor of Economics H.Shevchenko), the following scientific results were obtained:
A theoretical and methodological approach to determining the economic content of natural resource assets of the recreational and tourist sphere has been developed, which consists in identifying them as resources (in the evolutionary chain “natural resources – natural resource potential – natural capital – natural assets”), from the involvement of which in economic activity a benefit is obtained, as well as its justification based on the results of the analysis of the factors of formation of these assets as the basis of national wealth and sustainable development of the country, as well as the principles of state management of them. An approximate optimization model is presented to ensure the adoption and implementation of management decisions in the field of recreational and tourist activity, which allows assessing the use of natural resource assets integrated into the system of recreational and tourist assets in order to take into account heterogeneous factors in a single system, as well as determining investment directions in accordance with promising types of activity, taking into account the range of changes in the model parameters that make up its target function and the system of restrictions in accordance with the aspirations of recreational and tourist establishments to maximize their income.
