Whithin the research project “Formation of Efficient Logistics of Commodity Markets” (Registration No.0119U000227, performance period: 01.01.2019 – 31.12.2021, Scientific Supervisors of the research: Academician of the NAS of Ukraine B. Burkynskyi, Doctor of Economics O. Nikishyna), the following scientific results were obtained:
Methodological principles for the formation of effective logistics of commodity markets on the basis of a reproducible approach with a target orientation towards optimizing market added value, which is based on groups of interrelated principles – reproducible, integration, regulatory and sustainable development have been developed; hypothetical assertions about the transformative impact of effective logistics on the theory of market equilibrium and the reproducible development of commodity markets are proven; the theoretical and methodological basis of logistic “gaps” of flow processes of the commodity market is substantiated. The theoretical and methodological support for diagnosing the efficiency of market chains on the basis of a system of balanced quantitative and qualitative indicators that allow determining logistic trends, problems and patterns of development of commodity markets is substantiated. Scientific and applied recommendations to improve organizational, economic and institutional mechanisms for the formation of reproductive logistics in the agri-food markets of Ukraine, focused on a more objective redistribution of added value between the links of market chains (raw material, processing, sales and consumer), the development of value chains extended through processing, the stimulation of exports of processed agricultural raw materials to optimize the structure of Ukrainian exports and to achieve the reproductive and social effects in the logistics system of markets, have been developed.

Whithin the research project “Selective regulation of the development of commodity markets” (Registration No.0122U000825, performance period: 01.01.2022–30.06.2024, Scientific Supervisors of the research: Academician of the NAS of Ukraine B. Burkynskyi, Doctor of Economics O. Nikishyna ), the following scientific results were obtained:
The theoretical and methodological principles of selective regulation of commodity market systems based on reproducible and sustainable approaches are substantiated, to the basis of which is laid down: (a) four groups of related regulatory principles; (b) a methodological approach to selective regulation, which involves a dual targeted impact on “growth points” and “gaps” of commodity and financial flows between sectors and markets of the system using adaptive regulatory mechanisms. Methodological support for a comprehensive assessment of the functioning and regulation of commodity markets on the basis of sustainability, which is based on the integration of the concept of resilience into reproducible, regulatory, and balanced approaches and includes determining the condition (stable/unstable) of the market using groups of non-integrated indicators, as well as an expanded procedure for assessing markets taking into account the dynamics of their indicators, time parameters and the context of the situation, has been developed. The scientific and applied principles of institutional support for selective regulation of commodity markets (on the example of agri-food markets) in the war and first post-war periods in the context of implementing the tasks of the Recovery Plan of Ukraine in the direction of “New Agrarian Policy” are substantiated.
