Open Day of the State Organization “Institute of Market and Economic & Ecological Research of the NAS of Ukraine”, dedicated to the International Black Sea Day

10/31/2024 The Council of Young Scientists of the State Institution “Institute of Market and Economic & Ecological Research of the NAS of Ukraine” held an event for students on the occasion of the International Black Sea Day, at which the Director of the Institute, Academician of the NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Professor Burkynskyi B.V., Deputy Directors of the Institute for Scientific Work – Corresponding Member of the NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Professor Khumarova N.I. and Doctor of Economics, Professor Laiko O.I., Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the Institute, Doctor of Economics, Professor Ermakova O.A., Research Fellow of the Institute, Head of the Section of the Ministry of Education “Ecology”, PhD (Ecology) Mykhailenko V.I., Engineer of the 1st Category of the Institute Maloga O.A.

Students and teachers of lyceums and gymnasiums of the city of Odesa was introduced to the scientific activities of the Institute and the Council of Young Scientists, international projects, in particular RESPONSE and STURNET, aimed at improving the ecological state of the Black Sea, a discussion was held on environmental education in schools, a report was made on “The Ukrainian Black Sea Region in the Context of the UN Sustainable Development Goals”, and a quiz was held with prizes – key chains with the coat of arms of Ukraine made of recycled plastic.
