The SturNet project focuses on the conservation of sturgeon populations and the protection of the Black Sea Basin unique ecosystem. Through joint research, data collection and model development, this project will help preserve sturgeon habitats and support aquaculture, contributing to the long-term sustainability of the Black Sea Basin ecosystem.
We are pleased to announce that our network is growing, and we are happy to welcome everyone who wants to join our cause. In particular, 7 institutions, organizations, public entities and even a higher education institution have joined the SturNet initiative:

- State Institution “Institute of Marine Biology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine”

- Black Sea Regional Branch of the Ukrainian Ecological Academy of Sciences.
Our goal is to address vital conservation issues and secure the future of sturgeon populations by integrating scientific research, comprehensive data collection, and cutting-edge digital advances.
