SturNet (BSB00172) project team Olha Karpenko and Olha Golikova actively participated in the Second Training Visit – Information Meeting within the RESPONSE project on March 20, 2026, dedicated to the challenges of marine pollution in the Black Sea region, involving foreign partners and stakeholders from Moldova, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and Greece.
The participation of SturNet (BSB00172) representatives was an important step in strengthening inter-project cooperation and synergy, in particular in the areas of biodiversity conservation, sturgeon species protection and environmental risk management in the face of modern challenges, including military impacts. The exchange of experience between initiatives contributes to the integration of approaches to monitoring the state of ecosystems, responding to pollution and using digital tools for environmental management.
Joint participation in the event emphasizes the importance of coordinating efforts at the regional level and creates a basis for further effective cooperation between the RESPONSE and SturNet projects towards the sustainable development of the Black Sea Basin.
